Reduction of cargo acceptance at Alashankou station

JSC "NC "KTZ" received a telegram from the administration of the Urumchi Railway. It contains information that starting from May to December of this year, reconstruction and repair of station tracks, transshipment terminals for bulk and bulk cargo and the construction of tipplers are planned at Alashankou station.
As Vladimir Petrov, General Director of KTZ-Cargo Transportation, noted, due to repair work on the Chinese side, the acceptance of mining, bulk and bulk cargo will be reduced.
KTZ-Cargo Transportation LLP recommends that shippers reorient part of bulk and bulk cargo to the Altynkol-Khorgos border crossing from June 1. This will make it possible to fulfill the agreed volume of traffic between Kazakhstan and China.
