Nurlan Omertayevich was born on August 9, 1959. Graduated from Karaganda Polytechnic Institute in 1982 with a degree in transport, transport equipment and technology. He started his career as a cargo receiver immediately after graduation. In 1985, he became the head of the freight forwarding department in Convoy 2582 in the city of Karaganda. In 1993, he was a leading specialist of the representative office of the Alma-Ata Railway in Urumqi, China. In 1995, he was the head of the GTS in Almaty. Since 2011, he has held senior positions in the National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" for a long time. Nurlan Omertavich is the owner of the badges "Honorary Railway worker", and many others.
